CHICAGO – Following today’s game vs. St. Louis, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Nick Padilla to Class AAA Charlotte.
Padilla is 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA (3 ER/4.2 IP) and six strikeouts in three games over three stints with the White Sox this season.
Chicago will make a corresponding roster move prior to Friday’s game at Atlanta.
