FORT MYERS, FL – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned left-handed pitcher Jovani Moran to Triple-A St. Paul and have reassigned the following players to minor league camp: left-handed pitcher Devin Smeltzer, and outfielder Jake Cave.
The Twins now have 33 active players in camp (4 non-roster): 18 pitchers (2 non-roster), three catchers (0 non-roster), seven infielders (1 non-roster) and five outfielders (1 non-roster).
