Toronto FC announced today that defender Rocco Romeo has been loaned to Valour FC of the Canadian Premier League through December 2021.
Romeo, 21, recently played on loan for HB Köge (Second Division, Denmark) during the 2020 season. In his second stint with the Danish team, he made 14 appearances and scored one goal. Romeo signed with Toronto FC as a Homegrown Player on January 21, 2020, becoming the 21st player in club history to sign for the first team from the Toronto FC Academy. He went on a short loan spell to HB Köge in January 2019, where he made eight appearances. He spent four seasons with Toronto FC II, where he made 25 appearances and registered one goal.
