Toronto trims roster ahead of Week 7

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts have released running back Kevin Brown, defensive back Donald Rutledge, and linebacker Daniel Kwamou, the team announced Tuesday.

Brown initially joined the Argos in the offseason but was released prior to the regular season. He re-signed in June and played three games, registering 18 carries for 37 yards and one touchdown.

Before arriving in Toronto, Brown spent three seasons with the Edmonton Elks, amassing 2,149 rushing yards and five touchdowns across 38 games.

The moves come ahead of Toronto’s Week 7 matchup, as the team continues to evaluate depth across key positional units.
