The Dutch Gaming Authority (Ksa) has advised the gambling provider TonyBet regarding its failure to provide 24-hour Dutch-language telephone customer service. According to Ksa regulations, companies with a Ksa license must offer customer service in Dutch at all times, ensuring players can communicate in their native language, particularly in the context of the duty of care.

Although TonyBet has held a license for some time, their website only went live at the end of 2024. Shortly after the launch, a player reported that customer service was only available in English. Upon receiving this information, the Ksa addressed the issue with TonyBet. The company promptly took corrective actions, including hiring more Dutch-speaking customer service representatives. As a result, their telephone customer service is now available 24/7 in Dutch.
