REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced the signing of defensive back Kerfalla Exumé. Exumé became a free agent on February 11 and has now joined the Roughriders.
Kerfalla Exumé (6’0″, 195 lbs):
- CFL Draft: Selected by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the eighth round (70th overall) of the 2019 CFL Draft.
- CFL Experience: Exumé has played five CFL seasons and participated in 76 career games, splitting his time between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Montreal Alouettes, and Toronto Argonauts.
- Accolades: He is a two-time Grey Cup Champion, having won in 2019 with the Bombers and in 2024 with the Argonauts.
2024 Season with the Argos:
- Played 12 games, recording eight special teams tackles.
2023 Season with the Blue Bombers:
- Appeared in 14 games, registering two defensive tackles and 17 special teams tackles, tying for the fifth-most in the CFL.
Career Stats:
- Over his CFL career, Exumé has accumulated five defensive tackles and 71 special teams tackles, including 25 special teams tackles in his first professional season with the Bombers – the second-best mark in the league that year.
Collegiate Career:
- Played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2015-18).
- Recorded 26 tackles, two interceptions, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble over 22 games.
