28-year-old suffered torn right ACL on May 12 at San Jose and will miss remainder of 2021 season
SEATTLE, WASH. – Sounders FC today announced that midfielder Jordy Delem has been placed on the Season Ending Injury List. Delem suffered a torn right ACL in the opening minutes of the club’s match at San Jose on May 12. The 28-year-old is now ineligible to play for the remainder of the 2021 campaign.
The Martinique international signed with Sounders FC in 2017 following one season with the club’s USL affiliate. Delem has started 46 of 74 MLS regular-season appearances for the Rave Green, in addition to appearing in seven postseason matches for Seattle.
