Senators’ MacEwen Fined for Unsportsmanlike Conduct

NEW YORK – Ottawa Senators forward Zack MacEwen has been fined $2,018.23, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for unsportsmanlike conduct during NHL Game No. 323 in Ottawa on Monday, Nov. 27, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 5:13 of the third period. MacEwen was assessed a match penalty.

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
