— Club signs 20 draftees in addition to nine non-drafted free agents —

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres announced they have agreed to terms with 20 players from their 2026 MLB First-Year Player Draft class, as well as nine non-drafted free agents.

Including the non-drafted free agents, the Padres signed 15 position players (seven outfielders, three shortstops, one second baseman, one first baseman and three catchers) and 14 pitchers (nine right-handed pitchers and five left-handed pitchers). The club selected 25 college players and four from the high school ranks.
