BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox have signed two additional players selected in the 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft: shortstops Nazzan Zanetello (2nd round) and Antonio Anderson (3rd round). Both signees will report to Fort Myers, FL.
Director of Amateur Scouting Devin Pearson made the announcement.
In all, 16 of the 22 players selected by Boston in the 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft have been signed to contracts, including 11 of the club’s first 12 selections.
Attached is a list of the Red Sox’ 2023 draft picks. Names in bold indicate players signed by the club.
