BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox today returned infielder Christian Arroyo from his injury rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Worcester and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list.
Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom made the announcement.
Arroyo, 25, was placed on the injured list with a left hand contusion on May 9, retroactive to May 7. In three rehab games with Worcester—including two starts at second base—he went 1-for-10 with one double and one walk.
