BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:
- Reinstated right-handed pitcher Brayan Bello from the 15-Day Injured List.
- Recalled outfielder Jarren Duran from Triple-A Worcester.
- Optioned infielder Bobby Dalbec to Triple-A Worcester following yesterday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels.
- Designated right-handed pitcher Jake Faria for assignment.

Bello, 23, began the season on the 15-Day Injured List due to right elbow inflammation. The right-hander made a rehab start for Worcester on April 11, allowing one run in 6.0 innings pitched with four hits, four strikeouts, and one hit batsman. He also threw 72 pitches over 5.0 innings in an intrasquad game at the Fenway South Spring Training and Player Development Complex on April 5. Since making his debut on July 6, 2022, Bello is 2-8 with a 4.71 ERA (30 ER/57.1 IP) and 55 strikeouts in 13 career Major League outings (11 starts).
Duran, 26, has posted a .353 on-base percentage and .792 OPS in 11 games with Worcester this season, batting .195 (8-for-41) with two doubles, one triple, two home runs, 10 walks, eight runs scored, six RBI, and two stolen bases. In 91 career Major League games, the left-handed batter has hit .219 (68-for-311) with 40 runs scored, 27 RBI, and nine steals in 11 attempts.
Dalbec, 27, was recalled from Worcester on April 10 and appeared in four games for Boston, going 2-for-9 with two walks while making one start each at first base, third base, and shortstop. In seven games for Worcester this season, the right-handed batter has hit .261 (6-for-23) with six runs scored, one double, one triple, one home run, and five RBI.
Faria, 29, has made three relief appearances with Worcester this season, allowing six runs over five innings, with six walks and five strikeouts. The right-hander owns a 4.70 ERA (106 ER/203.0 IP) across 72 career Major League appearances (29 starts) with the Tampa Bay Rays (2017-19), Milwaukee Brewers (2019), and Arizona Diamondbacks (2021).
