BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox have added three non-roster invitees to the team’s 2022 Spring Training roster: right-handed pitchers Silvino Bracho, Tyler Danish, and Darin Gillies.
The Red Sox have now invited 11 players to Major League Spring Training camp as non-roster invitees.

Silvino Bracho, RHP – Bracho, 29, has made 92 major league appearances, all in relief for the Arizona Diamondbacks (2015-2020). Originally signed by Arizona as an international free agent in August 2011, the right-hander is 2-2 with one save and a 4.82 ERA (48 ER/89.2 IP), 1.32 WHIP, and 9.43 strikeouts per nine innings in his big league career. In 2021 with the San Francisco Giants’ Triple-A Sacramento affiliate, the right-hander went 1-3 with eight saves, a 4.14 ERA (23 ER/50.0 IP), and 10.80 strikeouts per nine innings over 49 relief appearances. In 2018, Bracho made a career-high 31 relief appearances for Arizona, going 2-0 with a 3.19 ERA (11 ER/31.0 IP), a 1.19 WHIP, and a .223 opponent batting average.
Tyler Danish, RHP – Danish, 27, has made 11 major league appearances (one start), all for the Chicago White Sox from 2016-18. The right-hander split the 2021 season between Double-A Rocket City and Triple-A Salt Lake in the Los Angeles Angels system, posting a 3.84 ERA (30 ER/70.1 IP) in 32 appearances (three starts). Selected by the White Sox in the second round of the 2013 June Draft out of Durant High School (FL), he was ranked by Baseball America as one of Chicago’s top prospects from 2014-17. Danish has pitched in the White Sox (2013-18), Seattle Mariners (2018), and Angels (2021) organizations, and from 2019-20 he made 26 appearances between New Britain and Sioux Falls in independent leagues.
Darin Gillies, RHP – Gillies, 29, spent his first seven professional seasons in the Seattle Mariners minor league system, splitting the 2021 season between Double-A Arkansas and Triple-A Tacoma. The right-hander went 5-0 with a 2.80 ERA (14 ER/45.0 IP) in 40 appearances (one start) last season, converting all 10 of his save opportunities. He led Seattle minor leaguers in 2021 in saves and ranked third in appearances. Originally selected by Seattle in the 10th round of the 2015 June Draft out of Arizona State University, the California native is 22-13 with a 3.96 ERA (149 ER/338.1 IP) in 215 minor league appearances (eight starts).
