Inter Miami has won three of its last four matches, though all three wins came at home. The Herons have lost 10 of their last 13 on the road (W2 D1), failing to score in each of their last four road games. Miami has been shut out in eight of the 13 matches in that span, scoring once in each of the other five matches.
Jesús Ferreira scored FC Dallas’ lone goal on a direct free kick on Wednesday against LAFC. It was Ferreira’s 28th career MLS goal, but the first that did not come from open play.
Indiana Vassilev came off the bench to turn Inter Miami’s night around on Saturday, scoring an 87th-minute equalizer and a 90th-minute winner against Minnesota. Vassilev became the fifth player in MLS history to score an equalizer and winner in the 87th minute or later of a single match.
