Colorado has won three of its last four matches against expansion sides (L1) including the last two matches against newcomers Austin FC last season. Prior to that, the Rapids were winless against expansion sides from 2015 to 2018 (D2 L5).

The Rapids have lost consecutive regular season matches for the first time since October 2020. They’ve conceded three times in each match, the first time they’ve allowed three goals in consecutive losses since May 2019 as part of an eight-match losing streak, the last time Colorado lost more than two in a row.

Charlotte FC is still looking for its first away point after a 2-1 loss at New England on Saturday. Charlotte is the first expansion side to lose its first four away matches in MLS since Montreal (5 straight) in 2012.

Diego Rubio has scored in consecutive matches for the second time this season, also doing so in early March. Rubio didn’t manage consecutive games with a goal at any point in either the 2020 or 2021 seasons, while his last run of three straight matches with a goal was in July-August 2019.

Yordy Reyna has scored in each of his last three matches against the Rapids, doing so with Vancouver from 2017 to 2019. Reyna could become the seventh player to score in at least four straight regular season matches against Colorado, and the first since Diego Valeri (5 straight) from 2017-19.
