The World Poker Tour has officially announced the full schedule for the upcoming inaugural WPT Macau festival in June
In mid-March, the World Poker Tour announced it was preparing to make history in the worldwide poker community.
Namely, the premier name in globally televised gaming and entertainment announced the inaugural launch of the WPT Macau festival scheduled for June 18-June 24 in the People’s Republic of China.
The WPT has finally released the full schedule for the festival, which will host 12 different events with buy-ins that will vary from HK$5,000 ($640) to HK$200,000 ($25,540). Here is what you need to know.
SuperStack and Mini High Roller Events for Kick-Off
The festival, which will be possible thanks to the partnership between Allied Gaming & Entertainment and Wynn Macau, will assist Macau with reaffirming its status as a premium destination for tourists and hitting the refresh button on the gaming and hospitality sector.
Wynn Palace in Cotai will host the inaugural day scheduled for June 18 which will feature a HK$8,000 ($1,021) SuperStack event and a HK$50,000 ($6,384) Mini High Roller.
WPT’s first-ever Macau series will continue with a Superstack event on the second day, along with the Super High Roller Day 1 with a HK$200,000 ($25,538) buy-in and a HK$250,000 ($31,922) stack, a Single Hand Flips to Milestone Satellite with a buy-in of HK$550 ($70), or the Milestone Mega Satellite to WTP Macau Championship with a HK$5,600 buy-in ($715).
The festival’s third day will carry on with a WTP Macau Championship Event Day 1A with a HK$40,000 ($5,107) buy-in, the Super High Roller Day 2, and the Milestone Satellite to WTP Macau Championship.
More Festival Highlights
Other highlights on the last three days of the festival will feature the Superstack Turbo with a HK$20,000 ($2,553) buy-in and the High Roller Satellite with a HK$14,000 ($1,787) buy-in on Saturday, June 22, the Big Bounty Day 1 with a HK$11,000 ($1,404) buy-in, and the High Roller Day 1 with a HK$100,000 ($12,768) buy-in on June 23.
The third day will host the High Roller Day 2 with the same buy-in on the last day, along with the Megastack Single Day, and the Deepstack Turbo Closer with a HK$5,000 ($638) buy-in.
The festival will be the third main tour stop in the Asia-Pacific region, following WPT Australia launched in 2022, and WPT Cambodia which made its debut in January 2024.
