NEW YORK AND TORONTO – The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) and PLAY Hockey have unveiled a multi-year partnership to introduce the inaugural PWHL Breakthrough Cup. This collaboration aims to promote the growth and development of girls’ youth hockey through inclusive events and experiences, enhancing the PWHL’s commitment to advancing women’s hockey at all levels.

PWHL Breakthrough Cup Details: Set to take place from April 4-6, 2025, in Blaine, MN, the PWHL Breakthrough Cup powered by PLAY Hockey will bring together teams of all ages and skill levels. This event, held in the State of Hockey, offers participants the chance to compete and interact with the stars of the PWHL, striving to be crowned PWHL Breakthrough Cup champions.
