The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that outfielder Anthony Alford has completed his rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis and has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list (right wrist sprain).
To make room for Alford on the active roster, infielder/outfielder Hoy Park has been optioned to Triple-A.
In addition, right-handed pitcher Max Kranick will continue his rehab assignment tonight with Indianapolis. Kranick is currently on the 10-day injured list with a right forearm strain.
