The Pirates yesterday made the following roster moves:

• Claimed C Ali Sánchez off waivers from the Detroit Tigers – STATS
• Claimed RHP Beau Sulser off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles – STATS
• Appeared in four games for the Pirates in 2022
• C José Godoy was designated for assignment – STATS
• The 40-man roster is at 40
