Marsh’s Season So Far

Marsh, 27, has played 14 games in center field (12 starts) and four games in left field (2 starts) this season. Over 51 plate appearances, he has drawn seven walks, maintaining a 13.7% walk rate, which ranks third on the team (minimum 50 PA), trailing only Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper (both 19.1%).

Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft, Marsh was acquired by the Phillies in a trade for catcher Logan O’Hoppe on August 2, 2022.

Stevenson’s Call-Up

Stevenson, 28, has been a consistent presence for Triple-A Lehigh Valley, reaching base safely in each of his last 10 games since April 6. During that span, he has hit .226 (7-for-31) with a .385 on-base percentage, three doubles, two RBIs, eight walks, eight runs, and four stolen bases. Defensively, Stevenson has made seven starts in center field, five in left field, and three in right field.

A native of Fremont, California, Stevenson appeared in 18 games with the Phillies in 2024 across two stints. He was originally selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 10th round of the 2018 MLB Draft and later claimed off waivers by the Phillies from the San Francisco Giants on May 26, 2023.

The Phillies will look to adjust their outfield rotation as Marsh recovers, with Johan Rojas expected to see increased playing time in center field.
