In his last 17 games before being placed on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain on June 28, he produced an OPS of 1.096 with four doubles, six home runs, 13 RBI and 13 walks. Schwarber also leads the National League in walk rate (16.1%) and walks (59).

Harper was named NL Player of the Month for June and May, becoming only the 19th player in MLB history to win consecutive Player of the Month awards and was the NL’s leading vote-getter for the 2024 All-Star Game.

Originally selected by the Washington Nationals in the first round (1st overall) of the 2010 MLB Draft, Harper signed with the Phillies as a free agent on March 2, 2019.
