Game 4 Recap
June 10 – Vegas Golden Knights 3, Florida Panthers 2
The Vegas Golden Knights moved within one win of their ultimate goal as they picked up a 3-2 win in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night at FLA Live Arena. Chandler Stephenson got the scoring started less than two minutes into the game as he raced past the Florida defense and fired a shot home to make it 1-0 for the visitors. Stephenson doubled the lead in the second period as he one-timed a pass from Mark Stone to give the Golden Knights a 2-0 edge. Less than four minutes later, William Karlsson piled on with his first goal of the series to put Vegas ahead, 3-0. Brandon Montour banked a shot in off the Vegas defense to get the Panthers on the board late in the middle frame and the Golden Knights carried the 3-1 lead into the third period. Aleksander Barkov brought Florida to within one early in the third, but Adin Hill slammed the door late to give Vegas its 15th win of the postseason.

Making History
The Vegas Golden Knights’ Game 4 victory over the Florida Panthers marked the team’s 15th win this postseason, the most the club has ever had in the playoffs.

More History
Vegas seeks to become the seventh franchise in NHL history (and only the second in the modern era) to win its first Stanley Cup in six seasons or fewer, joining Toronto (1918 as Arenas, 1st season), Montreal Maroons (1926, 2nd season), NY Rangers (1928, 2nd season), original Ottawa Senators (1920, 3rd season), Boston (1929, 5th season) and Edmonton (1984, 5th season).

Welcome Back to Las Vegas
The Golden Knights and Panthers will return to Las Vegas for Game 5 on Tuesday. In seven all-time meetings at T-Mobile Arena, Vegas is a perfect 7-0-0 when welcoming Florida to The Fortress. The Panthers are the only team in the NHL to have not won a game at T-Mobile Arena. After Game 2, Vegas improved to 8-3 (.727) at home during the 2023 postseason, a new club benchmark for a single postseason and the best home winning percentage in the NHL.

Bouncing Back
After dropping Game 3 to the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final, the Golden Knights bounced back to beat Florida, 3-2. Since March 1, Vegas boasts an 11-1-1 record after a loss and averages 4.23 goals per game in those contests, limiting their opponents to 2.08
