WINNIPEG JETS NOTES:

Scene Setter
The Winnipeg Jets end their three-game Central Division road trip on Sunday night when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks. The Jets improved to 1-1-0 on the trip after a 5-4 overtime win against the Dallas Stars on Friday night thanks to Josh Morrissey’s second overtime winning goal in three games. After Sunday’s game, the Jets return to Winnipeg for a four-game homestand, which begins on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche.

Recap: Josh Morrissey scored 34 seconds into overtime to give the Jets a 5-4 overtime win against the Dallas Stars on Friday night. Adam Lowry (1G, 2A) led the Jets with a three-point night, while Blake Wheeler (2A), and Dylan DeMelo (2A) all had two-point nights for the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 37 shots for his ninth win of the season.

After having four points (1G, 3A) in nine games in October, last season’s leading scorer Kyle Connor has 13 points (6G, 7A) in 10 games in November so far to lead the team… Connor has five of his seven goals this season in his past five games and has scored in consecutive games
for the first time this season… Four of his 10 games in November have been multi-point outings.

Highs for Lows
After a three-point night on Friday, Adam Lowry is averaging a career best .53 points per game this season… He’s on pace for 43 points this season, which would be nearly double the career high 24 points (10G, 14A) he had in 52 games during the 2020-21 season.
