The Winnipeg Jets begin a three-game California road trip on Thursday when they visit the Anaheim Ducks. The Jets beat the Arizona Coyotes 2-1 on Tuesday night in a quick one-game home pit stop. Recap: The Jets scored twice in the first period and hung on to beat the Arizona Coyotes 2-1 at Canada Life Centre on Tuesday and sweep the season series. Nikolaj Ehlers scored on a breakaway and Adam Lowry scored a shorthanded goal on a 2-on-1 for Winnipeg’s tallies. Pierre-Luc Dubois paced the Jets with five shots and four hits. ANAHEIM DUCKS NOTES
TONIGHT’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks continue an eight-game homestand spanning 16 days tonight vs .the Winnipeg Jets at Honda Center (7 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports West AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Anaheim enters tonight with points in four of the last seven contests (2-3-2), nine of their last 13 games (6-4-3) and 10 of the last 15 overall (6-5-4). The Ducks have also earned points in 14 of the last 23 games overall (10-9-4) and are 11-10-5 the last 26 contests.
