Scene Setter
The Winnipeg Jets finish their five-game road – the team’s longest of the season – on Tuesday when they face the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena. The Jets won consecutive games against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday and Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday to even their record to 2-2-0 on the trip. Recap: The Jets opened a 3-0 lead in the first period before scoring twice in the third period to beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3 on Sunday night. Five different Jets players scored, while Brenden Dillon had two assists for Winnipeg’s only multi-point game. Nikolaj Ehlers and Morgan Barron paced the Jets with five shots, while Dillon had a team-best five hits. David Rittich made 28 saves to earn his third consecutive win.
