NHL Preview: Winnipeg Jets (29-14-1) at Montreal Canadiens (18-23-3)

Scene Setter
The Winnipeg Jets start a five-game road trip, their longest of the season, on Tuesday when they visit the Montreal Canadiens. The Jets are coming off a 2-1 win against the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday at Canada Life Centre, which extended Winnipeg’s winning streak to three games and home winning streak to five games. The Jets continue the trip on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs

Recap: All three goals were scored in the second period in Winnipeg’s 2-1 win against the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday night. Pierre-Luc Dubois opening the scoring with his 20th goal of the season. Josh Morrissey notched his 40th assist mark, while Cole Pefetti assisted Blake Wheeler’s
game-winning goal for his 20th assist of the season.
