Michael Amadio notched three points (2-1—3) as the Vegas Golden Knights (50-22-9) took down the Seattle Kraken (46-27-8), 4-1, on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena. Amadio opened scoring for Vegas five minutes into the opening period. Four minutes later, Yanni Gourde tied the game at 1-1. In the middle frame, Amadio scored his second of the night to put the Golden Knights ahead, 2-1. The Golden Knights locked down defensively and skated to the 4-1 win.

LAST GAME BY THE NUMBERS

  • Amadio’s multi-goal performance is his first with Vegas and second of his career (Feb. 17, 2018 with LAK)
  • Smith reaches the 25-goal mark for the third time in his career and first since the 2019-20 season
  • Marchessault takes the team lead in goals this season with his 28th on the year
  • Laurent Brossoit stopped 20 shots, posting a .954 save percentage to improve to 6-0-3 this season
  • Vegas reached the 50-win mark for the second time in club history, just one shy of the franchise record of 51 set in 2017-18
  • The Golden Knights increased their season point total to 109, matching their point total in their inaugural 2017-18 season

Keeping it One Hundred
Vegas reached 100 points for the second time in franchise history on April 1 after defeating Minnesota at home. This is the first time the club has reached the century mark since its inaugural season in 2017-18, and it was the first team in the Western Conference to hit 100 points this season. The Golden Knights matched the franchise record for single-season points (109) after defeating Seattle on Tuesday and enter the regular-season finale on Thursday just one win shy of matching the franchise record (51).

Dancing Knights
For the fifth time in six seasons, the Golden Knights have clinched a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. With Nashville’s loss to Pittsburgh on Mar. 30, Vegas became the first team in the Pacific Division and the Western Conference to have its postseason spot secured.

The Vegas Golden Knights have the edge in regular season play against the Seattle Kraken of 6-1-0 since the newest club joined the NHL. Vegas will close out its regular season facing Seattle in a home-and-home matchup, after winning the first game at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday and concluding on Thursday at Climate Pledge Arena.
