Jack Eichel notched the fourth hat trick of his career as the Vegas Golden Knights (43-21-6) cruised to a 7-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets (21-41-7) on Sunday afternoon at T-Mobile Arena. Phil Kessel scored the only goal of the first period as his 12th of the season gave Vegas a 1-0 lead. After Kirill Marchenko got the Blue Jackets on the board, the flood gates opened for the Golden Knights as Eichel scored twice to go along with goals from Pavel Dorofeyev and Zach Whitecloud. With a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes, Vegas continued pressing as Paul Cotter netted his 13th of the year to make it 6-1. With 9:33 to go in the game, Eichel buried his third of the afternoon to make it a 7-1 game. A late goal from Liam Foudy was the last in a 7-2 victory for the Golden Knights.
