LAST GAME: March 30, 5-4 OT win vs. Philadelphia: The Senators held Philadelphia to 11 shots, the fewest of any NHL team in a game this season, and emerged with a 5-4 overtime win at Canadian Tire Centre. The victory saw the Flyers’ five-game winning streak halted as DeBrincat tallied his second overtime game-winning goal of the season at 1:36 of the extra session. Stützle had a multi-point game for Ottawa (one goal, one assist) with the marker coming as his 37th of the season, the most by a Senators skater since 2008-09, while the assist was the 100th of his NHL career. Pinto became the eighth rookie in team history to reach the 20-goal plateau with Watson and Giroux also finding the back of the net for the home side. DeAngelo, York, Cates and Tippett replied for the visitors. Talbot earned the win for Ottawa in making seven saves on 11 shots while Sandstrom took the loss for Philadelphia in making 41 saves.
