LAST GAME
The Tampa Bay Lightning earned two points Thursday night with a 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks at AMALIE Arena…The Bolts improved to 2-2-1 on the season with a home record of 2-0-0…Nick Paul opened the scoring with a power-play goal 11:10 into the first period, jumping on a rebound in front and burying his third goal of the season with Steven Stamkos picking up the lone helper…Brock Boeser evened the score 14 seconds into the second period before Tyler Myers quickly gave VAN a 2-1 lead just 48 seconds later…Following a fight between Tanner Jeannot and Mark Friedman, Mikey Eyssimont took a pass from Conor Sheary and wired a snap shot over the glove of Demko to tie the game 2-2 with Nick Perbix collecting the secondary helper…Just 1:09 later, Nikita Kucherov collected a pass along the wall from Brandon Hagel before curling to the top of the right circle and firing a shot through traffic that beat Demko and put the Lightning up 3-2 with Darren Raddysh recording the secondary assist…Kucherov added a second goal at the 4:42 mark of the third period when Brayden Point and Paul won a board battle on the power play, allowing Paul to send a pass to Kucherov, who snapped a quick onetimer past Demko to make it 4-2…VAN added a late empty-net goal from J.T.
