HURRICANES vs. LIGHTNING SERIES NOTES
— Carolina is facing Tampa Bay in the third and final meeting between the teams during the 2022-23 season.

— The Hurricanes and Lightning are meeting for the 141st time in their regular-season histories. Carolina holds a 62-56-10-12 overall record, including a 38-23-7-3 home record.

— Carolina leads the season series 2-0-0 in 2022-23 (Tampa Bay: 0-1-1), and the team is one win shy of posting just the second season sweep of the Lightning since relocation (2008-09: 6-0-0).

— The Hurricanes earned a 4-3 shootout win over the Lightning at Amalie Arena on 11/3.
