X GON’ GIVE IT TO YA

  • The Stars are headed the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second straight year, 18th time since relocating to Dallas in 1993-94 and 35th time in franchise history. Dallas became the 10th team to clinch a berth in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
  • With a victory on April 6 vs. Philadelphia, the Stars (43-21-14, 100 points) secured a 100-point season for the 10th time in franchise history and first since 2015-16 (109 points). Each of the previous 10 times the franchise has reached the century mark have come since the team relocated to Dallas ahead of the 1993-94 season.
  • Dallas currently sits in first place in the Central with a one-point edge on Colorado. (The Avs have two games remaining while the Stars have one). The Stars clinched home ice in the First Round by virtue of a Jets victory over the Wild in regulation on April 11.

TONIGHT’S GAME: The Stars have reached the final game of their 2022-23 regular season as they host the St. Louis Blues on Fan Appreciation Night at American Airlines Center. (7 p.m. CT, TV: ESPN, Radio: The Ticket 96.7-FM/1310-AM). This caps off the club’s 10th and final set of back-to-backs this season. Following tonight’s game, the Stars will begin their quest for the Stanley Cup beginning next week. (Round 1 dates TBD).
