THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Tonight’s game is the fourth of five consecutive games the Kraken will play against Pacific Division teams. Seattle has a 4-2-1 record against Pacific Division teams this season.

• Entering play Saturday, the Kraken ranked fourth in the NHL with a .675 points percentage this season.

• A win tonight would give the Kraken wins in five consecutive road games for the first time in franchise history.

• Seattle has posted an 8-1-1 record in the month of November. The team’s eight wins are their most in a single month in franchise history despite having two games still to play this month.

• The Kraken’s .850 points percentage this November is also their best mark in a single month in franchise history.

• If the Kraken earn a point tonight, it would give them points in three consecutive games against the Ducks for the first time in franchise history.

• Seattle has scored four goals in three of the four games they have played against Anaheim.

• The Kraken have five players playing at a point-per-game pace over the team’s last six games dating back to Nov. 11 vs. Minnesota: Matty Beniers, Andre Burakovsky, Jordan Eberle, Jamie Oleksiak and Justin Schultz.

• Adam Larsson has been on the ice for 23 five-on-five Kraken goals this season, which was tied for the fifth-most among all NHL defensemen this season entering play Saturday according to Natural Stat Trick.

• Larsson’s plus-13 goal differential at five-on-five this year leads all Kraken skaters.

• Larsson is one of only four players this season to record at least 50 hits and 40 blocked shots.

• Ryan Donato, Morgan Geekie and Daniel Sprong have played on a line together for 10 games this season. When the trio is on the ice during five-on-five play, the Kraken are outscoring their opponents 4-1 according to Natural Stat Trick. They have not been on the ice for a five-on-five goal against since Nov. 1 at Calgary.

• Morgan Geekie was tied for third in the NHL entering play Saturday with a career-best three game-winning goals this season.

• Entering play Saturday, the Kraken were the only team this season to have three different defensemen score at least three goals. Jamie Oleksiak (four), Vince Dunn (three) and Justin Schultz (three) have all scored at least three times for the Kraken this year.

• Despite only playing in 15 games this season, Oleksiak enters tonight’s matchup just two goals shy of tying his career high of six that he set during the 2020-21 season while playing for the Dallas Stars.

• The Kraken are outshooting their opponents 478-419 at five-on-five this season. Their 52.3 percent shot share was good for seventh in the NHL entering play Saturday according to Natural Stat Trick.

DUCK HUNTING
• Ryan Donato has six points (three goals, three assists) in his last four games against the Ducks, recording at least a point in each of the four games he has played against the Ducks as a member of the Kraken.

• Vince Dunn has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last four games against Anaheim, recording a point in every game the Kraken have played against the Ducks.

• Dunn’s three-game point streak is his longest active point streak against any opponent, and a goal or an assist tonight would give him points in five consecutive games against a single opponent for the first time in his career.

• Jordan Eberle has totaled six points (two goals, four assists) in his last five games against Anaheim.

• Martin Jones won his first NHL game in his NHL debut on Dec. 3, 2013 against the Ducks.

• Justin Schultz has seven assists in his last seven games against Anaheim.

• Jaden Schwartz has three points (one goal, two assists) in the three games he has played against the Ducks as a Kraken.

WINNING WAYS
• The Kraken have posted an 8-1-1 record in their last 10 games played dating back to Nov. 1 at Calgary. Their eight wins during that span were tied for fourth in the NHL entering play Saturday and their .850 points percentage ranked second.

• Their eight wins are tied for their most in a 10-game span in franchise history, having also won eight of 10 games from Oct. 29 to Nov. 23. The team’s 17 points are also tied for their most in a 10-game stretch in franchise history.

• The Kraken’s eight wins in their last 10 games played are tied with the Boston Bruins for the second-most in the NHL, trailing only the New Jersey Devils, who have won nine of their last 10 games played.

• The Kraken have only allowed 22 goals in those 10 games dating back to Nov. 1, which was the second fewest in the NHL during that span entering play Saturday, trailing only the Colorado Avalanche (19), who have played one fewer game.

• Seattle’s 2.20 goals against per game played since Nov. 1 ranked fifth in the NHL entering play Saturday.

• The team is outscoring its opponents 37-22 in its last 10 games played.

• Seattle is currently ranked second in the Pacific Division with 27 points in 20 games played. They trail only the Vegas Golden Knights (33 points) for the division lead.

SECOND TIME AROUND
• The Kraken enter tonight’s game with an 12-5-3 record, which is good for a .675 points percentage and 27 points.

• The team won their 12th game of the season on Nov. 25 vs. the Vegas Golden Knights, their 20th game played of the season. Last year, it took the Kraken 39 games and 100 days from the start of the season to reach 12 wins, earning their 12th win of the season on Jan. 20, 2022, a 3-2 win over the San Jose Sharks.

• It also took the Kraken 39 games to reach 27 points last season. This year, the Kraken earned their 27th point of the season in their 20th game played, a 4-2 win against the Golden Knights on Nov. 25.

• Saturday, Nov. 26 marked the 47th day of the 2022-23 NHL season, roughly a quarter of the way through. Compared to the first 47 days of the 2021-22 regular season, the Kraken have won five more games, earned 12 more points and have improved their points percentage by 0.318.

• The Kraken’s 0.318 points percentage improvement from the first 47 days of the 2021-22 season to the first 47 days of the 2022-23 season leads the NHL. Seattle is the only team with a points percentage improvement that is over .300.

• Their five extra wins are tied with the Montreal Canadiens for the fourth-best mark in the league. Only the New York Islanders (plus-nine), New Jersey Devils (plus-eight) and Boston Bruins (plus-seven) have a better year-over-year win improvement.

• The team’s 12 more points through the first 47 days of the 2022-23 season are tied with New Jersey for the third-best points improvement, trailing the New York Islanders (16) and Boston Bruins (14).

• The Kraken have been at or above a .500 points percentage the entire 2022-23 season. They did not achieve that mark past the first three games of the 2021-22 season.

• The team’s 12 wins this season have come against the Buffalo Sabres, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings (2), Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins (2), San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights. Seven of those 10 teams were playoff teams last season.

YOU’RE A BURK
• Andre Burakovsky enters tonight’s game leading the Kraken with 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) this season. It is the first time in his career that he has played a point-per-game pace through his first 20 games of the season.

• According to NHL Stats, Burakovsky ranks fourth in scoring among veteran players who are in their first season with a new team. He trails Florida’s Matthew Tkachuk (27 points), Los Angeles’ Kevin Fiala (22 points) and Detroit’s Dominik Kubalik (21 points).

• The nine-year vet is currently on pace to finish the season with 29 goals, 53 assists and 82 points, all of which would set career highs for the forward.

• Burakovsky has posted multi-point efforts in each of the Kraken’s last two games, scoring twice on Nov. 25 at Vegas and scoring a goal and adding two assists on Nov. 23 vs. San Jose. If he were to have two or more points tonight, it would mark the first time that he recorded multi-point efforts in three consecutive games since he did so in four straight games from Jan. 18 to Feb. 4, 2020.

• According to Natural Stat Trick, Burakovsky has a 53.1 percent Corsi rating this season, which ranks fourth among Kraken skaters that have played in at least two games.

ROAD WARRIORS
• The Kraken have posted a 6-1-1 record while playing on the road this season and are one of only three teams (New Jersey, Vegas) to have only one regulation loss on the road this season.

• Despite playing the second-fewest games on the road this season (eight), the Kraken were tied for the fourth in the NHL in regulation wins on the road (six) and ranked third in road points percentage (.813) entering play Saturday.

• The team’s 3.88 goals-per-game played on the road ranked fifth in the NHL entering play Saturday.

• Seattle is outscoring its opponents 31-21 when playing on the road this season. The team’s 21 goals against and 2.63 goals against per game played on the road this year tied for second and ranked fourth in the NHL, respectively, entering play Saturday.

• A regulation win tonight would make the Kraken the first team this season to win five consecutive road games in regulation.

• The Toronto Maple Leafs have also won their last four road games in regulation and could extend their streak to five games when they take on the Penguins in Pittsburgh on Nov. 26.

• Andre Burakovsky is the team’s leading scorer when playing on the road, totaling seven points (four goals, three assists) in eight road games this season.

• Yanni Gourde has recorded at least a point in each of his last four road games dating back to Nov. 1 at Calgary, totaling five points (two goals, three assists) during that span. A goal or an assist tonight would give him points in five consecutive road games for the first time since he had points in six straight road games from Oct. 27 to Nov. 17, 2018.

CHEERS TO BENIERS
• Matty Beniers leads all NHL rookies this season in goals (six) and points (15), and his nine assists tied for third entering play Saturday. His six points (one goal, five assists) since Nov. 19 lead both NHL rookies and all Kraken skaters.

• Beniers’ 15 points are good for third on Seattle’s roster. His six goals and nine assists are tied for fourth and third, respectively, among all Kraken skaters.

• Beniers is also averaging 17:14 of ice time per game this season, which is the second-most among rookie forwards (Noah Cates; 17:48) and ranks fourth among Kraken forwards.

• The 20-year-old is currently on pace to finish the season with 25 goals, 37 assists and 62 points. 25 goals would be the most since Minnesota’s Kirill Kaprizov – the eventual Calder Memorial Trophy Winner – had 27 goals 2020-21.

• A goal or an assist tonight would give Beniers points in four consecutive games. It would mark the fourth time in his career that he recorded a point streak of four or more games.

STARTING STRONG
• The Kraken are 9-1-1 when scoring first this season and have scored first in four of their last five games.

• The team has scored first in 11 of its 20 games played this season, roughly 55 percent of the time. For comparison, last year the Kraken scored first in only 31 of their 82 games played, or about 37.8 percent.

• Their nine wins (tied) and .818 points percentage when scoring first both ranked sixth in the NHL entering play Saturday.

• The Kraken are outscoring their opponents 20-17 in the first period this season. Their plus-three goal differential in the first 20 minutes of played ranked 11th in the NHL entering play Saturday.

• The Kraken are one of four teams in the NHL (Boston, Colorado, New Jersey) to have a positive goal differential in each period this season. They are plus-three in the first period, plus-six in the second period, and plus-six in the third period.

• The Kraken have gone into the first intermission leading six times this season and have posted a 4-1-1 record in those games.

ON A ROLL
• Justin Schultz has totaled six points (two goals, four assists) in his last four games. If he records a point tonight, it would give him points in five consecutive games, which would set a career high for the 11-year vet.

• Jordan Eberle has eight points (five goals, three assists) in his last seven games, dating back to Nov. 8 vs. Nashville. His five goals during that span lead all Kraken skaters.

• Jared McCann and Jaden Schwartz both have four points (two goals, two assists) in his last four games.

• If he were to score tonight, Ryan Donato would have goals in three consecutive games, which would match his career high that he has reached on two other occasions.

A STAR IS BORN
• Martin Jones was named the NHL’s Third Star of the Week for the week of Nov. 14 after posting a 2-0-0 record with a 1.90 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage. It is the first time in franchise history that a Kraken player has been named one of the NHL’s Three Stars of the Week.

• Jones has been named one of the NHL’s Three Stars of the Week on six previous occasions:

Week Star Team Record GAA SV%
Nov. 13 to 20, 2022 Third Seattle 2-0-0 1.90 .932

Dec. 9 to 15, 2013 Second Los Angeles 3-0-0 1.00 .972

• Jones has posted an 8-2-1 record in his last 11 games played dating back to Oct. 25 vs. Buffalo. His 1.99 goals-against average is ranked sixth among goaltenders that have played at least five games during that span entering play Saturday.

• According to Evolving Hockey, Jones has saved 7.47 goals above expected at five-on-five during that span, which ranked fifth in the NHL entering play Saturday.

• Jones’ 10 wins were tied for the third-most in the NHL this season entering play Saturday.

FOUR’S COMPANY
• The Seattle Kraken will forgo naming a captain for the 2022-23 season and have named four alternate captains as part of this year’s leadership group: Jordan Eberle, Yanni Gourde, Adam Larsson and Jaden Schwartz.

• This season will mark the second-consecutive year that all four of Eberle, Gourde, Larsson and Schwartz will wear a letter for the Kraken.

• Prior to joining the Kraken, Eberle previously served as an alternate captain for the Edmonton Oilers for five seasons (2012-13 to 2016-17). Larsson also wore an “A” for Edmonton after Eberle’s departure – from 2017-18 to 2020-21.

• Eberle leads all Kraken players in career games played (878), goals (268), assists (343) and points (611).

• Schwartz was an alternate captain for the St. Louis Blues for three seasons (2017-18 to 2019-20) and was a part of the team’s leadership group when they won the 2019 Stanley Cup.

Anaheim’s comeback win over San Jose marked the second time in franchise history the club has come back from a multi-goal deficit in the final 5:00 of regulation in the regular season (also Dec. 7, 2016 vs. CAR). Anaheim has recorded four third-period, multi-goal comeback victories in a single regular season just three times in franchise history (six in 2014-15 and five in 2009-10 & 4 in 2013-14).

OT HEROICS: Anaheim is 3-0 in games decided in overtime this season, while earning victories in five of the six contests that have required extra time (2-1 in shootouts). Anaheim’s three straight wins in OT to begin the season mark a franchise record, surpassing the two wins to begin a campaign (also 2010-10, 2008-09 and 1995-96). All three Ducks OT wins have come on home ice to lead the NHL in home OT wins, including Oct. 12 vs. SEA (Troy Terry GWG), Oct. 30 vs. TOR (Trevor Zegras GWG) and Nov. 15 vs. DET (Ryan Strome GWG). Zegras paces the NHL with eight shootout goals since the start of 2021-22.

TERRY TALK: Right wing Troy Terry leads Anaheim in points this season (8-13=21) and co-leads in goals. Terry ranks tied for sixth among NHL skaters in even-strength points (7-11=18) and tied for fourth in even-strength assists (11). Terry has recorded 4-8=12 points his last 13 games and has 5-10=15 points his last 15 contests. He had a career-best five-game assist streak Oct. 30-Nov. 6 (1-7=8), surpassing his prior best of four straight games with an assist Nov. 9-16, 2021 (3-4=7). Terry is currently on pace for 85 points, which is ahead of his career high set last season (37-30=67 in 75 GP in 2021-22) and would stand as the highest single-season total by a Ducks skater since Ryan Getzlaf in 2013-14 (31-56=87 in 77 GP).

GENERATION Z: Center Trevor Zegras co-leads the Ducks in goals (8), one of two players 21 or younger to lead their team in goals this season (also Cole Caufield, MTL), while he ranks second among team leaders in points (8-9=17) and assists. Zegras has points 1-4=5 points his last seven games and 1-6=7 points his last 10 overall. He has also scored 4-8=12 points his last 12 games and 6-8=14 points his last 16 outings. He recorded points in a career-tying four straight games Oct. 30-Nov. 5 (3-4=7), matching his prior streak set Apr. 24-29, 2022 (2-2=4). Zegras recorded his fifth career multi-goal game Oct. 30 vs. TOR (2-0=2), including his second career OT goal. The 21-year-old has recorded. His goal Nov. 17 @ WPG marked his 90th career point in 116 NHL games (34-56=90), the fifthfewest games among Ducks skaters to reach the mark, trailing only Teemu Selanne (70 GP), Paul Kariya (89 GP), Chris Pronger (108 GP) and Scott Niedermayer (114 GP).

QUE RICO!: Center Adam Henrique has 7-3=10 points his last 11 games after he recorded points in a season-long six straight games Nov. 5-19 (5-3=8), his best as a Duck and one short of his career-long point streak set over 10 years ago in seven straight contests with New Jersey Nov. 25-Dec. 8, 2011 (2-7=9). He scored goals in a season-best three straight games Nov. 5-12 (3-0=3, +3; missed Nov. 9 due to birth of first child), including his 100th goal as a Duck (100-90=190) Nov. 12 vs. CHI, becoming the 10th player in franchise history to reach the milestone.
