Recap: The Winnipeg Jets scored twice in the final 4:46 of the third period, but fell 3-2 to the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night. Nate Schmidt scored on the power play, while Pierre-Luc Dubois brought the Jets to within a goal with 43 seconds left. Blake Wheeler assisted both of Winnipeg’s goals for the Jets lone two-point night. Connor Hellebuyck made 33 saves in the loss.
