OTTAWA SENATORS NOTES:

LAST GAME: April 2, 4-3 OT loss at Columbus: Marchenko scored 16 seconds into the extra session as Columbus emerged with a 4-3 overtime victory at Nationwide Arena. The goal was his 21st of the season to establish the Blue Jackets franchise record for goals from a rookie. Johnson opened the scoring with his 39th point of the campaign to move him into a tie for the third-most points by a first-year skater in team history. Gambrell evened the game before Robinson responded five seconds later to record the fastest two-goals by both teams this year. Kastelic and DeBrincat then found the back of the net for Ottawa to conclude a six-goal first period which would see the score stand until Jenner at 14:11 of the third period sent the game into the extra period. Gillies earned the win for Columbus with 24 saves while Talbot took the loss for Ottawa in turning aside 18 shots.
