OTTAWA SENATORS NOTES:

LAST GAME: Jan. 18, 5-4 OT win vs. Pittsburgh: The Senators registered four power-play goals in one game for the first time since 12/17/05 to emerge with a 5-4 overtime win at Canadian Tire Centre. The home side was paced by Tkachuk who equaled a single game high with three assists while also adding his sixth career overtime game-winning goal to move into a tie for second on the franchise list and registering four points in one game for the first time in his NHL career. DeBrincat, Stützle (with his 20th of the season), Batherson (with his team-high 11th extra attacker goal of the year) and Pinto all found the back of the net on the power-play. Chabot added three assists for the Senators. Zucker, Malkin, Friedman and Rakell scored for Pittsburgh while Crosby recorded three helpers. Talbot earned the win for Ottawa with 15 saves while DeSmith took the loss for Pittsburgh in turning aside 35 of 40 shots.
