RECAP/NOTES: The Rangers snapped the Hurricanes’ 17-game point streak when they outlasted Carolina with a 5-3 win at home on Tuesday. New York rallied to tie the game on three separate occasions before scoring three goals in the third period to secure the win. For the second time this season, the Rangers scored three power play goals in a game, the other being October 17 vs. Anaheim.
