These teams last met at UBS Arena on November 23, when Sebastian Aho scored a goal and Ilya Sorokin turned away a career-high 49 saves, to help the Islanders earn a 3-0 victory. Tonight’s game is the third in a fourgame road trip for the Islanders, and is the first game of their eighth back-to-back series of the season. The Islanders look to earn their seventh win against a Pacific Division opponent tonight, after they improved to 6-1-0
against Pacific teams with a 6-2 win on Tuesday in Vancouver. They enter tonight’s matchup with a 10-7-1 record against Western Conference teams. The Islanders last visited the Oilers at Rogers Place on February 11, 2022, a 3-1 decision in Edmonton’s favor. Josh Bailey, Anthony Beavillier, and Ryan Pulock each found the scoresheet in the loss. The Islanders have visited Rogers Place just four times since the beginning of the 2016-17 season, with a 1-1-2 record in Edmonton since then.
ON THE ROAD

Tuesday night in Vancouver, the Islanders collected their first win in four road games with a 6-2 win over the Canucks. It was their tenth road win of the season in their 21st matchup, the halfway point of their road schedule this season.
