WHAT TO KNOW
The Devils suffered a 6-4 loss on Friday at Prudential Center, which ended the team’s six-game point streak. After Friday’s loss, Jersey’s team was outshot for the sixth time this season and fell to 5-1-0 when outshot in a game for the 2022-23 campaign. Braden Schneider scored the lone goal for the Rangers while Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin tallied shootout goals. In the win, Igor Shesterkin improved to 8-0-1 on the road and 11-0-1 in his career when making 40 or more saves.
