• Beniers’ 12 points (five goals, seven assists) since Nov. 19 were tied for the seventh-most in the NHL during that span entering play Monday.
• Beniers scored the game-winning goal in the Kraken’s game on Dec. 1, a 3-2 overtime win against the Washington Capitals. It was the first overtime goal of his career and his second game-winning goal of the season (Last: Nov. 1 at Calgary).
o Beniers’ overtime goal came seven seconds into overtime, the fastest overtime goal in franchise history. According to NHL Stats, it was also the fastest goal by a rookie from the start of a regular-season overtime in NHL history. Walter Jackson (0:08 on March 7, 1933) held the previous record.
o Entering play Monday, Beniers is one of two rookies (Fabian Zetterlund) to score an overtime goal this season and is one of three rookies (Pontus Holmberg, Shane Pinto) to score two game-winning goals this year.
• Entering play Monday, Beniers was the only rookie this season to have two three-point games, doing so on Nov. 23 vs. San Jose and on Nov. 27 at Anaheim.
• Beniers is also averaging 17:04 of ice time per game this season, which is the second-most among rookie forwards (Noah Cates; 17:51) and ranks fourth among Kraken forwards.
• The 20-year-old is currently on pace to finish the season with 34 goals, 38 assists and 72 points. 34 goals would be the most since Patrik Laine and Auston Matthews had 36 and 40 goals, respectively, during their rookie season in 2016-17.
EBS AND FLOW
• Jordan Eberle enters tonight’s game having recorded 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in his last 21 games played and has 11 points (five goals, six assists) in his last 10 games at Climate Pledge Arena.
• His 22 points this season are the second-most on Seattle’s roster and his 16 assists are tied with Andre Burakovsky for the team lead.
• Among players from the 2008 NHL Draft class, Eberle ranks third in scoring this season, trailing only San Jose’s Erik Karlsson (34 points) and Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos (29 points).
o Eberle’s 617 career points also ranked third among 2008 draftees, again trailing Stamkos (1,001) and Karlsson (694).
o Eberle was originally selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft. He is one of 28 players from the ’08 class that are still playing in the NHL, a list that includes Kraken teammate Justin Schultz.
• The 32-year-old is currently on pace to finish the season with 21 goals, 55 assists and 75 points. 55 assists would be the most of his career, surpassing his current career high of 42 that he set in 2011-12 while playing for the Oilers.
o It would mark the first time in his career that he would reach the 50-assist plateau.
o 75 points would be the second-most of his career, one point shy of his career-best 76 points that he had in 2011-12. It would mark just the second time in his career that he would have at least 70 points in a season.
• Eberle has played 97:40 at five-on-five with linemates Matty Beniers and Jared McCann. When the trio are on the ice together, the Kraken are outscoring their opponents 10-3, outshooting them 54-40 and have 46 scoring chances to their opponents’ 35 according to Natural Stat Trick.
• Eberle leads all Kraken skaters in career goals (268), assists (349), points (617) and games played (882).
ON A ROLL
• Justin Schultz has totaled 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in his last eight games, dating back to Nov. 17 vs. the Rangers. His 10 points since Nov. 17 were tied the third-most among defensemen during that span entering play Monday.
o Schutlz has recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in his last five home games.

• Andre Burakovsky enters tonight’s game leading the Kraken with 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists) this season. It is the first time in his career that he has played a point-per-game pace through his first 24 games of the season.
• Burakovsky has 10 points (five goals, five assists) in his last six games and has five points (one goal, four assists) in his last three home games.

SETTING THE PACE
• With 24 games played this year, the Kraken are roughly 30 percent of the way through their second season. Heading into tonight’s matchup with the Canadiens, 10 of the 19 veteran skaters on the Kraken’s active roster are on pace to surpass their career highs in scoring.
• Will Borgen, Andre Burakovsky, Vince Dunn, Morgan Geekie and Daniel Sprong are all on pace to set new career highs in goals, assists and points.
o Borgen has already tied his career high with two goals this season.
o Brandon Tanev is set to tie his career high in goals and set new career highs in assists and points.
• Karson Kuhlman (five), Jared McCann (41) and Jamie Oleksiak (16) are all on pace to finish the 2022-23 season with a new career high in goals.
o If the pace holds, it would mark the first time in his career that McCann would surpassed the 40-goal threshold.
o Alex Wennberg is on pace to finish the year with 17 goals, which would tie his career high.
• Oliver Bjorkstrand (31), Jordan Eberle (55), Justin Schultz (44) and Carson Soucy (14) are all pacing to finish the year with new career highs in assists.
• Karson Kuhlman (11), Jared McCann (60), Jamie Oleksiak (27) and Justin Schutlz (55) are all playing at a pace to surpass their career highs in points.
SCORING UP A STORM
• Entering play Monday, the Kraken ranked fifth in the NHL with 3.67 goals per game and were tied for seventh with 88 goals scored this season.
• The team’s plus-13 goal differential was tied for seventh in the NHL entering play Monday. They were one of only 11 teams this year to own a double-digit goal differential entering play Monday.
• The Kraken have played 12 games in which they have scored at least four goals, which is tied for the eighth-most in the NHL this season.
o Last year the Kraken only scored at least four goals in 21 of 82 games they played.
• Entering play Monday, the Kraken remained the only team to score at least eight goals in two separate games this season, scoring eight on Nov. 23 vs. San Jose and nine on Nov. 29 at Los Angeles.

• The team won their 15th game of the season on Dec. 1 vs. Washington, their 23rd game played of the season. o The team’s 13 more points through the first 55 days of the 2022-23 season is the fourth-best points improvement, trailing the New Jersey Devils (18), New York Islanders (17) and Boston Bruins (15).
• The Kraken have been at or above a .500 points percentage the entire 2022-23 season. They did not achieve that mark past the first three games of the 2021-22 season.
• The team’s 15 wins this season have come against the Anaheim Ducks, Buffalo Sabres, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings (3), Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins (2), San Jose Sharks, Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals.
