VILARDI PARTY
Gabriel Vilardi scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season last night in St. Louis in his 100th career NHL game, becoming the 30th different Kings skater to score a goal in his 100th career game in franchise history. In doing so, Vilardi extended his goal streak to a career-long four games (4-2=6) to cap off a stellar month of October for the forward. In 11 games played, Vilardi has accumulated 13 points (8-5=13) which sits sixth-most in the league amongst all skaters and tied for most among players 23 years of age or younger. Vilardi’s eight goals are tied for second among all skaters and sits one behind Edmonton’s Connor McDavid (9) for the league lead. His six even-strength goals and 11 even-strength points are both tied for the most in the league. Vilardi’s two-point effort (1-1=2) last night also marked his fifth multi-point game of the season, the second-most in the league behind Boston’s David Pastrnak (6). Per NHL PR, among players to debut with the Kings over the last 25 years, only three had as many points as Vilardi (26-23=49) through their first 100 games (all with the LA Kings): Anze Kopitar (32-58=90, 100GP), Tyler Toffoli (24-30=90, 100GP) and Michael Cammalleri (29-24=53, 100GP).

LET’S GO APPLE PICKING
Forward Kevin Fiala extended his point streak to four games by tallying his second three-point game of the season and ninth of his career last night against the Blues to be the first LA King to eclipse the 10-assist mark this season. It was also his third three-assist game of his career. Only two Kings skaters have reached the 10-assist mark in fewer games over the last 15 years (Anze Kopitar, 8GP in 2020-21; Drew Doughty, 10 GP in 2021-22). Since last Tuesday, Fiala has picked up the most assists in the league among any player while his seven points are tied for third-most, just above fellow LA King Gabriel Vilardi:
