ROAD WARRIOR IN THE CREASE

Goaltender Cam Talbot turned aside 24 of 26 shots Thursday evening in Ottawa for his league-leading fifth road win of the season and improved his record to 5-2-1 on the year to remain unbeaten on the road. Among goaltenders to start in at least four road games this season, Talbot ranks top-five in multiple categories.

ROAD WARRIORS

The Kings enter Philadelphia fresh off a 3-2 victory over the Senators in Ottawa on Thursday night, which extended their road winning streak to five games (5-0-0). It is the first time in franchise history the team has won their first five road games to start a season. Should the Kings secure a victory tonight, they would become just the 14th different team in league history to win each of their first six road games to start a season and the first to do so since the Nashville Predators (Oct. 4 – Nov. 10, 2018) and Toronto Maple Leafs (Oct. 7 – Nov. 3, 2018). Overall, only eight teams have started 6-0-0 on the road in the last 20 years:
