The Hurricanes earned a 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins at PNC Arena on Sunday. Sebastian Aho opened the scoring to extend his goal streak to four games, and Jordan Staal scored Carolina’s league-leading seventh shorthanded goal this month. Seth Jarvis and Paul Stastny also scored for the Hurricanes, as Brent Burns tallied an assist to extend his point streak to five games. Frederik Andersen stopped 24 of 25 shots faced in net, improving to 5-0-0 since returning from injury.
