Over Florida’s past six visits to SAP Center, the Panthers have outscored the Sharks 23-15.

Panthers goaltenders Sergei Bobrovsky and Anthony Stolarz each come into Tuesday’s matchup with significant numbers against the Sharks. In five games against the Sharks since becoming a Panther, Sergei Bobrovsky has a perfect 5-0-0 record. In his last start vs. San Jose, Bobrovsky allowed just one goal on 34 shots against. Anthony Stolarz picked up his first win as a Panther in a 3-1 victory over the Sharks at home on Oct. 24. Stolarz has a 9-1-0 career record against the Sharks including a shutout win on April 12, 2021, where he stopped all 46 shots faced.

Defenseman Kyle Burroughs has been among the league’s best in taking the body on the season, concluding Sunday’s game against Anaheim (Nov. 12) ranked T-19th among NHL defensemen with 27 hits. Burroughs’ 5.55 hits-per-60 is second among Sharks blue-liners. He also ranks second among Sharks defensemen with 29 blocked shots on the season. The Vancouver native has logged a career-high 19:26 TOI per game played since joining San Jose on a three-year deal, signed over the offseason, and is on pace for career bests in hits and blocked shots. His 23:31 TOI against Pittsburgh on Saturday was his most as a Shark.
