MARCH MADNESS
The Panthers wrapped up their season-long, seven-game homestand with yet another multi-goal, third-period comeback win March 18 vs. NJD. The Cats have overcome a two-goal, third-period deficit to either win or force overtime in three of their past four games. Florida owns a 5-1-1 record through seven games in March and are currently on a season-long six-game point streak (5-0-1). Over the course of the streak (since March 4), the Cats have outscored their opponents 27-17 while outshooting them by an average of 41.7-28.5. From March 4-18, Matthew Tkachuk led all NHL skaters with a 2.17 points-per-game average, logging a team-high 13 points (4-9-13) over the six games.
