Forward Joel Kiviranta (1-0—1) opened the game’s scoring with his second tally of the season, and rookie Wyatt Johnston (1-0—1) potted his second career NHL goal in the third period. Making his second start of the 2022-23 campaign, goaltender Scott Wedgewood allowed four goals on 32 shots. TONIGHT’S GAME: The Stars close out their four-game road trip against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden (6 p.m. CT, TV: Bally Sports Southwest, Radio: The Ticket 96.7-FM/1310-AM). This is the first of two scheduled meetings between the Stars and Bruins, and the lone visit to TD Garden during the regular season. It also concludes Dallas’ first of 10 back-to-backs this season. The Stars hold an all-time mark of 36-83-24 against the Bruins, including a 14-46-11 record on the road. Dallas split the two-game season series in 2021-22, losing 3-1 at TD Garden on Oct. 16, 2021 and winning 6-1 at American Airlines Center on Jan. 30. Following tonight’s game, the Stars will return to Dallas to open a three-game homestand beginning Thursday against the Washington Capitals.
