The Ducks fell 6-3 to the St. Louis Blues at Honda Center Saturday night. Nikita Nesterenko scored his first career NHL goal at 4:05 of the first period, becoming the second Ducks player this season to net their first NHL goal (also Pavol Regenda, Nov. 9 vs. MIN; 1-0=1). Troy Terry opened the scoring with his 21st goal (PPG) at 1:46 of the first period and tallied his 35th assist for his team-leading 15th multi-point performance. Mason McTavish registered his 26th assist and 42nd point of the season, passing Chris Kunitz for sole possession of fourth most points by a Ducks rookie in a single season (19-22=41 in 2005-06). His primary assist also pushed his rookie-leading tally to 18 this season. Ryan Strome netted his 14th goal at 5:39 of the third period, his third goal the past five games (3-1=4). Trevor Zegras recorded his team-leading 37th assist and 59th point, while Kevin Shattenkirk, Max Jones and Jakob Silfverberg also earned assists. TONIGHT’S GAME: The Anaheim Ducks conclude an eight-game homestand spanning 16 days tonight vs .the Colorado Avalanche at Honda Center (7 p.m. PT, TV: Bally Sports West AUDIO: Ducks Stream). Anaheim enters tonight with points nine of their last 15 games (6-6-3) and 10 of the last 17 overall (6-7-4).
