The Avalanche are 14-10-3 against Eastern Conference teams this year … Colorado finished 22-8-2 against the East last year, its most wins and tied for its most points (46) ever against the other conference… Since Jared Bednar was hired in 2016-17, the Avs are 104-64-18 (.608) against the Eastern Conference, which includes a 57-24-9 (.683) mark since 2019-20, the best of any Western Conference team over the last four seasons.
