LAST GAME
The Hurricanes earned a 3-2 overtime win against the Ottawa Senators at PNC Arena on Tuesday. Jesperi Kotkaniemi (1g, 1a), Stefan Noesen (2a) and Brady Skjei (1g, 1a) each registered two points, as Kotkaniemi scored for the second straight game and Skjei tied the Hurricanes single-season record for goals by a defenseman. Martin Necas scored his league-leading fourth overtime goal of the season, while Antti Raanta stopped 26 of 28 shots faced in net to improve to 15-0-2 in his last 17 decisions.

HURRICANES vs. PREDATORS SERIES NOTES
— Carolina is facing Nashville in the second and final meeting between the teams during the 2022-23 season.

— The Hurricanes and Predators are meeting for the 43rd time in their regular-season histories. Carolina holds a 23-15-1-3 overall record, including a 9-11-0-0 road record.
