— Carolina is facing Philadelphia in the third of four meetings between the teams during the 2023-24 season. The Flyers will travel to PNC Arena on 3/21. — The Hurricanes and Flyers are meeting for the 159th time in their regular-season histories. Jordan has posted 49 points (22g, 27a) in 76 career regular-season games against Philadelphia, marking his most goals and points against any NHL opponent as well as the second-most games played against Philadelphia of any active player. — Hurricanes Head Coach Rod Brind’Amour recorded 601 points (235g, 366a) in 633 games with Philadelphia from 1991-00, and he was inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame in 2015. He also appeared in 19 playoff games for the franchise, tallying 12 points (4g, 8a).

Jesperi Kotkaniemi (10:01), Brady Skjei (16:51) and Andrei Svechnikov (18:05) scored three unanswered goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation vs. CBJ (11/26), helping Carolina overcome a 2-0 deficit in the third period. Sunday’s game marked the sixth time in franchise history and the first time in nearly a decade that the Hurricanes overcame a multi-goal, third-period deficit in the final 10 minutes of a regulation win (also 10/11/86 vs. CGY, 12/30/88 vs. DET, 11/23/90 at BOS, 10/29/05 at PIT and 1/27/14 vs. CBJ). Carolina’s seven comeback wins in 2023-24 now trail only COL (8) for the league lead. The Hurricanes’ four third-period comeback wins also trail only ANA (6) for the most of any team, and they are one of three teams with two or more wins featuring multi-goal, third-period deficits (2), alongside TOR (3) and ANA (2).
